President & VP Roles

Applications are due December 14th, 2025

  • Lead ISC’s Executive team to achieve the annual goals set by the board of directors: lead weekly meetings, assign projects and tasks, support execs in achieving their objectives

  • Fulfill the duties of the President as delegated by them, or in their absence.

Manager & Coordinator Roles

Applications are due January 4th, 2026

  • Plan and execute ISC’s signature events (Community Circle), as well as smaller cohort events, in your region

  • Plan and execute ISC’s virtual programs such as Trail of Lights webinar series, and other new ideas connecting PALs to students

  • Recruit and onboard new PALs

    Act as main point of contact for existing PALs

    Connect students to PALs based on common interests and fields

  • Work closely with Iranian Student Organizations to ensure they benefit from ISC’s programs and services, and to collaborate with them on various programs

  • Manage content for ISC’s marketing channels such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, as well as email newsletter and website, to ensure they are up to date with the latest ISC programs

  • Work on special IT and web projects that make ISC more efficient, and enable ISC to connect students and alumni more easily

  • Submitted applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If we identify a potential fit, candidates will be invited for a short interview.

  • Decisions are finalized by the end of January, and the term begins in February.

About ISC Executive Positions

Eligibility

  • All current students and alumni of any accredited U.S. college or university are eligible to apply.

  • Applicants may be based anywhere in the U.S., though being located in California is preferred for in-person event participation.

Expectations & Responsibilities

    • Serve a one-year term (renewable)

    • Commit 3–5 hours per week

    • Attend weekly executive team meetings

    • Attend most ISC events in your region

    • Promote ISC and its mission

Qualifications

    • Volunteer or organizational leadership experience

    • Strong communication skills

    • Project management skills

    • Accountability and integrity

    • Passion for supporting fellow Iranians

    • Enthusiasm for ISC’s mission

    • Based in California (preferred)
