Who Are We
Founded in 2020 by student leaders from universities across California, Iranian Students of California (ISC) was created to serve as a central platform dedicated to supporting the needs of Iranian students. Today, ISC is a nonprofit organization led by a team of passionate student and alumni volunteers committed to fostering connection, opportunity, and community for students across the state.
Mission & Philosophy
Iranian Students of California’s mission is to empower students and alumni of Iranian heritage across America for the greater benefit of the community at large.
We advance this mission through programs that foster meaningful connections between students and alumni across campuses and diverse fields of study, creating opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and mutual support.
Governance & Bylaws
We are an independent, volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws in the United States. Officially registered as the Iranian American Student Council, ISC is led by a dedicated team of volunteer board members who serve staggered 3-year terms.
